Thursday July 4th: Independence Day
Thursday July 4th
On Thursday campers started their third round of lessons. We also had relays and celebrated America's Independence Day as can be seen with the flags decorated by the campers below.
Here are some thoughts from the campers of Hawaii:
"In NY class we were doing inventions. In HI class we were doing our parks"
"In relays we were spending our time so funny! We played games, ran and jumped."
"We played relays with ball it was very funny!"
"We played games with Emma. Was two teams and two people drew picture, but didn't say what is it. Two teams decided what is it. It was very funny. I was happy because my team wins."
"Flag decoration was good part of the day, because you can draw and write your thoughts about independence day and congratulate American teachers."
"From all state three groups was presenting their flags with Latvia and US flag elements."
"Day yesterday we made flags and listened American songs too. We spoke about America. A lot of teachers loved that day."
