Monday July 1st: Scavenger Hunt
Monday July 1st
Some thoughts from the campers in North Carolina:
"Monday was not only the start of July, but beginning of one hard week. Monday was full of many activities!"
"Monday was a day with a lot of different activities. It was exciting and funny! The first interesting activities were classes with McKell and Alex. There we spoke about homonyms and amusement parks. The second activity was watching of movie CoCo. It's very interesting and exciting. The third activity and most coolest- Scavenger Hunt. There we got different questions about teachers and helpers. All teams were very good and had some points, but team 2 won, congratulations!"
"We had sing-a-long in the morning. It was really fun, because we sang songs like "Sweet Caroline and 'We Didn't Start the Fire.'"
"Also this day we had scavenger hunt at which we had to find some items, geographic locations and ask teachers some questions. Our team (3) tried to find all items in the list, so with this task, in my opinion we did pretty well. With geographical location we did good, but in teacher questions we didn't do very well, but we tried. Our team dint' win the sweet prize, but it was an awesome day!"
"Yesterday we worked together on the Scavenger Hunt. I worked with team number 2. I was done list one with three people. Other done 2 and 3 list. We don't believe that we can win, but we won!! Ice cream was good."
"I think yesterday we practice communication skills at scavenger hunt. We practice singing skills at sing-a-long. We watched very interesting movie about Day of the Dead. It was a very interesting day!"
