Tuesday June 25th
Tuesday morning started with campers first full homeroom time. Teachers had their students participate in various activities.
Thoughts from the campers in Texas (the youngest homeroom): "Tuesday morning we go in our homeroom. We got journals and we write first words of vocabulary. We play puzzles."
Students then rotated to different teachers for their lessons.
"We play games in New York, Simon Says, but Emma Say. We learn English."
"After dinner, we play football, basketball before we go to games with Emma."
In the afternoon students participated in an Interview Activity where they had to become the news reporters and they had to learn about three different campers not in their homerooms. Once every student met three new students, several students taught the rest of the camp about their new friend. After this activity, the students did an all about me activity.
"We do robots about ourselves."
"We got acquainted with new teachers."
The students took a break from morning classes to participate in various relays:
"The relays, they were very funny."
