Settling in in Latvia
Tuesday June 16th - Sunday June 23rd
On Tuesday, six American teachers met at the airport in Minneapolis to start their journey to Daugavpils, Latvia! Amazingly, all of their luggage made it as well!
The teachers were met by Irina and Natalia, the Camp Directors and several of this years helpers to transfer luggage and help prepare for camp. The helpers were kept quite busy during the first few days. The American teachers also prepared for camp.
On Saturday the Americans and Latvians visited the fortress in town and the Mark Rothko Museum!
